About Me

Where does one usually begin an introduction. I guess I could give you my background. Originally from Poland, I grew up in the Netherlands in an international community for most of my life and my academic background is media and culture with a specialization in film. But that is all too common to introduce someone, we all come from different paths that are shaped for us and by us. I guess what I could really introduce myself with is what makes me tick. You see, ever since I was little I always loved stories, after all its how we communicate history and most of our social interaction is based on telling stories. Some stories are real, some a little twisted, some fictional. Some are meant to comfort, some are meant to teach, some are meant to hurt. Yet whatever the story, there is always a part of us or our culture embedded into it. To understand that and to analyze it, is what really makes me tick.

Being born into a generation of a socio technological expansion the likes that history has not seen since the age of print is quite an interesting position to be put into. So many forms of stories are being told that it can be hard to quantify and keep up with them at times. For me my love has always been film and as a subsequent photography. It all started when I was 6 years old and my uncle gifted my dad a new edition of the original Star Wars trilogy. I remember looking at the box and thinking that the cover art looks incredible. Upon later watching them later I remember the feeling those films gave me.
